VEHICLES 3
Lola T70 Mk IIIB
The Guild of Motoring Artists have their own e-magazine "Redline". When the Editor put out a request for a ‘Featured Artist’ I decided to take the plunge. I then became aware that I had little new automotive work other than the Lotus 7 (see Vehicles 1). So I decided I’d do something just for that occasion. So here is my homage to what is, in my opinion, the prettiest racing car ever; the Lola T70 Mk III.
Depicted here as Jo Bonnier’s car raced at Thruxton in 1969.

Porsche 917K
Ever since I saw Pedro Rodriquez drive the Gulf Porsche 917K at the BOAC 1000 Km at Brands Hatch I have admired this car.
This strikingly painted version is Chassis 023. Richard Attwood drove this to victory at Le Mans in 1970.
