LANDSCAPES 2
Strangford Lough from Mount Stewart
I worked in Belfast during the 1980s. My favourite evening drive was down the Ards Peninsular to Portaferry for dinner. Then across to Strangford on the ferry and back through Newtownards, past Scrabbo Tower to the Conway Hotel.
This area has another emotional link as my Dad was stationed in Northern Ireland with the RAF during WW2. He may have been at RAF Eglington or RAF Ballyherbert, I'm still trying to find out exactly.
