British Rail Standard 9F 2-10-0

I'm always willing to try something different. British Rail 9F 2-10-0 92203 has been a part of my life since first seeing her at David Shepherd's East Somerset Light Railway in the 1980's. David Shepherd renamed the locomotive "Black Prince". I last saw her 'in the flesh'  in 2010 at the Gloucester and Worcester Steam Railway at Toddington.

 

Here she is in her original guise, hauling freight.

 

Such was my admiration for this locomotive that my late Father-In-Law handmade me an OO/HO replica of "Black Prince" from brass sheet.

 

I'm venturing into Terence Cuneo / David Shepherd territory here, so I hope I've not bitten off more than I can chew!
